Dr. Sumeet Bhatt is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a distinguished background in clinical excellence and academic achievement.
He completed his undergraduate education at Transylvania University in Kentucky before earning his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine. In medical school, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) National Medical Honor Society, a distinction reserved for the top tier of medical students in the country.
Dr. Sumeet Bhatt completed his residency education in emergency medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, within the Cornell Hospital training program. His time working in busy urban medical centers in New York City, Louisville, and Tampa provided him with extensive experience in managing high-acuity cases and complex medical emergencies. For the past 9 years, he has dedicated himself to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care to the New Braunfels community.
